Nov 5th - New member meeting (3 years or less of umpiring TASO Baseball)
Dec. 17th - Introduction of the 2025-2026 RGV Baseball Chapter Board Members and New Chapter Members. State Meeting Travel Plans. Troublesome Rules of 2025. New 2026 NFHS Rules & Point of Emphasis.
Jan. 7th - Rule 1-Players Field and Equipment. Rule 2-Playing Terms and Definitions. Active Shooter. Texas Way Video and Recommitment Video.
Jan.14th -This meeting is MANDATORY for all members. Ethics Power Point Presentation. Ethics agreement form must be signed by all members at this time. State meeting Report.
Jan 17th -State TASO Baseball 2-man Crew On-Field Clinic at PSJA North. Mandatory for umpires with less than 5yrs experience. Registration begins at 8:00am start time scheduled for 8:30am. (Shirts will be given to attendees)
Jan. 21st - Rule 3 Substituting - Coaching - Bench and Field Conduct. Charged Conferences. (On-Field at San Juan Park weather permitting)
Jan 24th - On field clinic at McHi Baseball Field. Mandatory for umpires with less than Syrs experience. Umpires will be rotating every inning. Training will be done during actual live game situations. Veteran umpires are welcome. Scheduled start time: 1 0:00am.

Feb. 4th - Rule 4 Starting and Ending Game, Rule 5 Dead Ball and Delayed Dead Ball, Preparation for the
Season & Game Management power point presentation.
Feb. 11th - Rule 6 Pitching, Rule 7 Batting, Batting Out of Order, Designated Hitter, Rule 8 Base Running,
Courtesy Runners. (On-Field at San Juan Park weather permitting)
Feb. 18th - . Force Play Slide Rule. Base Awards. Game Situations and Rule Questions.
Feb. 25th - Rule 9 Scoring. Rule 10 Umpiring. Warning or Ejections Power Point.
